Not really much I can say about this anime other than it was entertaining. I never expect much from a 12 episode series, as I believe 12 isn't enough to convey a good story. However, this anime conveyed a better story than most 24 episode anime out there. I like how the MC gets thrown into another world, however I wish I could know how it happened in the first place as we never get to know. I also liked the way this anime gets famous Japanese war leaders and displays them as teenage girls in this universe for the sake of comedy and fan service. The romance wasn't bad but it could have been much better, if it wasn't for the fact that you'll have to read the novel to get to the good shit. Overall, it is really good and 12 episodes are nothing so watch it!
I felt like this show had a ton of potential to be great but it just didn't make it fully for me. I enjoyed it a lot but like you said above, 12 episodes isn't enough to tell a great story. I've seen it time and time again. 12 episode series just feel rushed to me almost every time. I wish this had a 2nd season or 24-26 episodes. This is definitely worth your time though.
